Cloth Diaper Giveaway

Cloth diapering is easy once you find the cloth diapering system(s) you prefer, (whether it is the prefolds, fitteds, pockets, all-in-ones (AIO), or a hybrid system (all-in two or AI2) and find the right washing routine . I will explain each of the cloth diapering systems in my next blog post. Cloth diapering can be a lot of fun. What do I mean by fun? The diapers are REALLY cute and so many cloth diaperers enjoy trying out new "fluff", it's really kind of addictive! Plus new advancements are made so that diapering becomes easier and new styles come out all the time! Not to mention the many great benefits of using cloth or the fun giveaways. Keep coming back here and I will talk about cloth diapering, the basics of cloth diapering, my beginners journey in it as well as things I have learned, how it is done,  and tips and tricks.

A few weeks ago I got my first two shipments of fluff. One was from Green Baby Goods. The diapers were cute, washed well and the diaper accessories were wonderful. I absolutely love my The Balm!. One of the diapers I really liked was the Kawaii Goodnight O/S Heavy Wetter. Why did I like it? The print was cute. I got two, both were the animal print, one of the diapers was white, the other was green. The diaper is a one size diaper so fits babies from 8-36 lbs. The material washes well and unlike some of my other diapers has not stained even a little bit. The inside material is soft, it is made of micro fleece  which keeps baby feeling dry and comfortable. The snaps rather then a hook and loop system ensure the diapers last longer. Plus this diaper comes with two inserts so that the diaper can be used during the day (with one) or at night. The microfiber inserts are very absorbent!

  3. I have been cloth diapering my children for over 4 years now, and LOVE it! Such a money saver (especially since I did not have to buy my second child diapers, he inherited his brother's stash), and I love that I am protecting the environment and keeping nasty toxins away from my children at the same time :-)

  6. I haven't tried these diapers before. I have a whole collection from my first two kids I CD'd, and am restocking some items/replacing some for my 3rd due in June. I love not having to buy disposables and throw all that money into the garbage. I initially spent under $200 for cloth and since my kids were late potty training (almost at 4yrs old) I saved a bunch!

  11. Cloth diapering baby number one for about 3 months now (she's 4.5 months old). I LOVE it! I was intimidated at 1st to start, mostly because of trying to figure out a wash routine. But once I just jumped in and did it, it's easy!! :) I was surprised about how easy it was. I love that it's such a money saver...that's the biggest reason. But a close 2nd is that she's yet to have a blowout! She's starting to eat a lot more and is turning into more of a heavy wetter, so a diaper specifically for overnight heavy wetters sounds perfect for us right now! :)

  19. We did a diaper trial from a retailer and found out which diapers we really liked and the ones that I had researched and "loved" online ended up being our least favorite! Do a diaper trial!!!

  32. We love prefolds and covers during the day, but we have a heavy wetter, so those don't work so well at night... after trying Rumparooz, Bumgenius, Thirsties, Imagine, and Kawaii (two kinds), the Kawaii GNHW is the clear winner!

    1. I have a heavy wetter too who sometimes eats about 4 or more times a night still (Sigh) and even then these diapers can hold 8-10 hours and thats with microfiber no hemp or bamboo so I agree they really are good!

  33. We are new to cloth diapering. I used disposables with my first 2 children, and wasn't aware of how much more convenient cloth diapering has become. I first looked into it when my baby girl was a month old and had a bleeding rash on her bottom that would just not go away. I have not looked back since we started cloth diapering. I only own 12 cloth diapers, so I do laundry every night, but it's worth it to me. I can't wait to improve on my stash a bit and try some of the other styles. So far we have FuzziBunz in size small and she's about to outgrow those.

    1. We just started also and now I have 15 diapers in my stash but the prefolds I have I am not a fan of because they are REALLY bulky. If your looking at great cheap diapers Kawaii Goodnights are great and so are the Kawaii HD2s. Otherwise I have LOVED Charlie Banana so far. Charlie Banana has amazingly cute prints and colours and fits great (even though they are O/S - unlike Kawaii the leg gussets are adjusteable). We have the "Goodbye Disposables" print and I adore it!

    1. Congrats and Good luck, hope you love cloth! If your looking for recommendations some great sites include allaboutcloth and Padded Tush Stats, also Im going to do a few reviews soon. Try different diapers out and styles and see which you like best. I thought I would like AIO and now Im kind of avoiding them and going for pockets. Personally Im loving Charlie Banana and am excited to try out the Flip diapers and inserts I got for nighttime!
